Right click anywhere on your desktop (not on an icon).
Click on "Properties".


Click on the "Settings Tab".
Move the Screen resolution slider bar until you see the 1024 X 768 settting.


Click "OK"
Your monitor may flicker or shut off for a moment.
It will then return and may ask you if you want to keep the new settings.
Click yes or OK.
